This page contains numerous conversions I have created to use figures from other manufacturers in the Legions of Steel game. Our group has been painting and playing miniatures games for many years, and have lovingly painted many figures for many sci-fi games that are ‘dead’ or no longer supported. I hate to see nice figures go to waste, so I have made conversions for these figures for my favorite sci-fi underground skirmish game, Legions of Steel.
Many of these figure conversions were designed for use in my annual GenCon Legions of Steel scenarios. I have posted many of them at my Legions of Steel scenarios page
For the most recent conversions, I have created PDF files with cards for each troop type. These cards can be inserted into standard Magic or Yu-gi-oh sized card sleeves to throw in the box or case with your figures. I intend to eventually create cards for all the conversions, but life gets very busy. If you have a specific request, please contact me with a comment below.

You can use the 40k conversions for the weapons, and civilians should be GM +2.
The problem is that the games become a blowout when you pit those civilians against tougher figs like space marines or …shudder…terminators. To make the game more fun, scale everything down by using the space marines’ chassis types as the baseline for your gangers (GM -0, walk 4) and your battles should be balanced. For tougher troops like IG or arbites, you can make them heavily armored (GM-1)
